Great achievement for Mrs Allen and Fivemiletown College

We are delighted to share the news that our Principal, Mrs Janice Allen, has been recognised in the King's New Year Honours list for services to education!
We are thrilled that Mrs Allen will be the recipient of an MBE - Member of the Order of the British Empire.
This is a fantastic achievement personally, and also for all in our school community; our Board of Governors, staff, pupils and families, all of whom contribute so much to make our school a special place to be part of. Well done Mrs Allen!

9M have been busy making ceramic flowers ahead of our special assembly in memory of Mrs Eva Martin tomorrow. They have each made a flower - 28 in total to represent the 28 years of Eva's life.

We look forward to welcoming Eva's family, former staff and pupils, governors, local politicians and the Minister for Education to join with us tomorrow morning remembering Eva, on this, the 50th anniversary of her death.

It is with sadness we inform you of the passing of John Burrell.

6th December 2023, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home, Cran Lodge, 19 Crievehill Road, Fivemiletown.

John George, a much loved husband of the late Unetta and a devoted father of Juanita (Liam), June (Raymond), Allister (Jill). Also a dear brother of Mollie, Gordon and Elinor. And a very special grandfather of John, Christopher, Daniel, Rhiannon, Anna-Jane, Alexandrea and Samuel.

Friends and neighbours are welcome to call to the family home on Thursday from 2.00pm – 9.00pm.
Please note all other times are private to family only including the morning of the funeral.

A service of thanksgiving for the life of John will take place on Friday in St John’s Parish Church, Fivemiletown, at 12.00 noon, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard.

Donations in memory of John are to St John's Parish Church, Parkinsons UK & Marie Curie. Please make all cheques payable to either "St John's Parish Church", "Parkinsons UK" or "Marie Curie" and send to Marcus Madill Funeral Director, Office & Funeral Home, Drumclay Park North, Irvinestown Road, Enniskillen, BT74 6ND.

John will be very sadly missed and always lovingly remembered by Maryke and all his family and all the family circle.
