Well what a horrible dreich night it's turning out to be. 🌧

With the nights drawing in and the "ber" months fast approaching it's a great time to start crafting in the evenings.

What crafts do you do or would like to have a go at?

If your local to Luthermuir there is a wee industrial show organised by Luthermuir Hall and Park Committee coming up in just over a month, so why not have a go at some of the classes.

So… did anyone see the lunar eclipse in the wee small hours of this morning?

I didn’t! 😂

I was fast asleep, happily tucked up with one of my velvet eye masks on… so I completely missed the show!

Hey ho I'll just have to make do with the moon and stars on my masks. Each one is made from soft velvet and finished with a hand-embroidered moon and star motif. ✨

Sometimes all you need is a good night’s sleep!

Be honest… did you see the eclipse, or were you sleeping through it too? 🌙

💖THANKFUL THURSDAY💖

What are you thankful for today?

For me it's my mum. Today would have been her 85th birthday and not a day goes by that I don't think about her.

I'm grateful for everything she taught me from her crafting skills, learning to appreciate that to make things from scratch it takes patience to my parenting skills. She was always there for myself and my sister when we came home from school and that is something that I have been extremely lucky to do with my four children hence my change in working hours, (more on that next week).

That's us back home after a fantastic day up at Lonach Highland Gathering & Games.

Thank you to everyone who came along to see myself and Fiona of Nyla's Dreams Aromas - Fi's Heart & Home and I hope you enjoy your purchases.

A massive thank you to Robert, Pam & Diane of Cairngorms Glamping & Campsite for their outstanding hospitality keeping us fed, watered and sheltered for the past couple of nights. The music from Kelsey and the hot tub at the end of the day were just what we needed. We can't wait to go back again for some rest & relaxation.
If you havent been I highly recommend a stay in their glamping pods, as it's so tranquil up there.

Right early night for me and try and get the sound of bagpipes out of my ears.

I'm just about packed!! A wee reminder to bring some cash of your planning to pop up on Saturday.

I will have my card reader but last year it wasn't too happy due to location of the games.

Busy day tomorrow packing cars, erecting gazebo and travelling up so see you Saturday.

A little reminder for the weekend!

We will have card machines available (as will many of our traders) but as we’re in a rural location there are no cash machines nearby and mobile/internet signal can sometimes be a challenge.

We’d therefore recommend making sure you have some cash with you for the day just in case! 💷

And if you’re joining us for the Ceilidh in the evening, please make sure you have cash with you as well.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Lonach this weekend! 🥃

Hello all, well I'm just about recovered from the weekend, if you were at Summers End Angus, tell us who your favourite band was in the comments below.

As some of you know our wee hall in Fettercairn is going to be reopening after being closed for 11 years, so the new committee are looking for a wee bit of help in going forward.

So a wee favour, would you mind filling up their survey and if your an artist, crafter etc leave your contact details at the end of the form so the new committee can get some workshops/fayres organised.

Great to get back in the craft shed today, a busy week ahead with back to school and Lonach prep.
