As schools prepare for the National Year of Reading 2026, now is the perfect time to reflect on how reading for pleasure is nurtured across your setting.

📚 Transforming School Reading Culture (TSRC) is a sustained, research-informed CPD programme designed specifically for Primary English Leads who want to strengthen and embed a culture of reading throughout their school.

Throughout the programme, participants will: ✅ Engage deeply with reading for pleasure pedagogy
✅ Explore leadership approaches that drive lasting change
✅ Develop practical strategies to transform their school's reading culture
✅ Collaborate with colleagues and reflect on their own practice

The programme consists of three face-to-face sessions at St Michael's C of E Primary School, with gap tasks between sessions to support implementation and impact. Participants are expected to attend all sessions to gain the full benefit of the programme.
