WHEN LEARNING HAPPENS: Have you ever watched your child’s face light up when something finally clicks?

These may seem like small moments, but they tell us so much about how our children are growing—becoming more independent, resilient and confident.

🌟 Your Child’s Learning Style Matters

Hi, I’m Lakshmi, Instructor at Kumon Feltham.

For over 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting local children through the Kumon Method. Alongside my specialist training in Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), this experience has given me a deep understanding that every child learns differently — and that with the right support, every child can succeed.

Some children need time and reassurance. Some need structure and routine. Others are ready to be stretched further. My role is to notice those differences and guide each child in the way that helps them feel capable, calm, and confident.

This means I gently and effectively support:
✨ Children who need calm, structured guidance to build confidence
✨ Children who are capable but lack focus or consistency
✨ Children who are racing ahead and need extra challenge
✨ Children who simply learn in their own unique way

At Kumon Feltham, learning isn’t rushed or pressured. Each child works at their own pace, building strong foundations in maths and English while also developing independence, resilience, and positive study habits that support them for life.

Because when children feel understood and supported, they grow not just academically — but in confidence too 💛
