Today was dentist day 🦷
The children had fun cleaning the big teeth and also their own teeth 🦷

Today we have been exploring police 👮🏻‍♂️ the children dressed up and explored images.
We also had a visit from the police and the children enjoyed dressing in their outfits and also sitting in the police car, pressing the buttons inside to make the lights and sirens work 🚓🚨

This week is ‘people who help us’ week

Today is hospital/doctors day 🏥
The children have been dressing up, looking after the babies, exploring the X-ray area and writing prescriptions 🤒👩🏽‍⚕️👨🏼‍⚕️🩺

After reading the story ‘colour monster’ the children wanted to create their own colour monsters using lots of colouring pencils and crayons 🖍🔴🟠🟣🔵🟢🟡⚪️🟤 🖍

This week, Betty and Eric are off to Jamaica 🇯🇲

Yesterday the children had fun in the garden using bug catchers to find some small insects 🐞 🕷 🐜 🪰 after looking closely at them, we released them back to their homes.

Yesterday we made some dens with the new materials we received. The children enjoyed making these and relaxing under them ☀️

We received a surprise goodie bag from the Early Years Team to say thank you for all our hard work. We very much appreciate the surprise and can’t wait to explore all the toys and resources 😁

Today for world book day we had some story themed table tops. The children enjoyed Goldilocks and the three bears, feeding the bears some yummy porridge. They also had fun with Peppa pig and her family with the trains.

Our new Gruffalo area in the garden is now finished. Once an unloved area, is now a story zone 🦉 🐍 🦊 🐭

Today they are off to Paris to celebrate Valentine’s Day 💜

Betty and Eric had a wonderful time exploring Australia 🇦🇺 the children at nursery had fun listening to Australian music, making boomerangs 🪃 and exploring the Australian animal table!

Today Betty and Eric are off to Wales to visit Charlotte’s family! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 I wonder what they will see and do!

This week, Betty and Eric had fun in America. They visited Disney and also the Statue of Liberty 🗽 the children at nursery created Stars and Stripes 🇺🇸 artwork. They also made Micky Mouse masks using lots of sequins and pom poms.
Betty and Eric are now off to Australia 🇦🇺 and they are beginning their adventure in the Great Barrier Reef 🐠🐡🦀🦑

We had lots of ice in the garden today due to the snow so we had a fun sensory activity for the children. They spoke about which animals live in the snow and ice and also spoke about how the ice feels ❄️ 🧊 🐧 🐻‍❄️

Betty and Eric had lots of fun in Iceland this week and at nursery the children enjoyed a small world sensory activity and they also created their flag!
This week Betty and Eric will be going to America! I wonder what they will see on their adventure

Betty and Eric had such fun in Pakistan climbing the mountains, visiting the zoo and visiting Muneeza’s family!
Today they are off to Iceland and are having a relaxing week in the salt lake. I wonder what else they will do whilst in Iceland

Today the construction area has been moved around and items have been added to make it more engaging for the children. 🚧 🦺 🏗

Betty and Eric’s new adventure will be in Pakistan and they will be visiting Muneeza’s family who live there! We hope they have lots of fun

Today we changed the role play area around to create a larger space for the children to explore. We will then be adding photos of objects and areas around homes which parents and staff have taken photos of 🏠🛏🪑🛁📚

Today we had a change around in the mud kitchen and added in a few new items for the children to explore

Today we found a butterfly in the mud kitchen. The children enjoyed seeing the beautiful butterfly 🦋

Betty and Eric are in Scotland celebrating New Years. We hope you have a happy healthy 2021

Betty and Eric are back home for Christmas Day.
They had a wonderful time at the German markets buying lots of gifts for their family and friends.

Eve the elf is sitting on her swing in the garden waiting for Santa to collect her. She has had such fun with the children and opening presents which she delivered from Santa! We hope to see Eve again next year! Merry Christmas to everyone, we hope you have a lovely break and we will see you all in the new year 🎄 🎁 🎅🏼
