✨ 2026 SHOWCASE - the 5 year spectacle ✨
Well where do I start … WOW what a show!!!!
I sat with such pride yesterday that we were here celebrating 5 unit 14 showcases & that we had managed to reach this point…
But more so of the talent & happiness across that whole stage!
To our unit 14 dancers… you all danced your socks off yesterday and it was so special watching you all up there doing what you love! I am so super proud of you for dancing so well yesterday, but also for the commitment, hard work & determination you’ve all shown to this past year but particularly in preparations to the show! I was beaming with pride at you all out there … you are all absolute superstars 🌟
To our teaching staff.. Callie, Taylor & River..
To watch students out there who have been under your guidance, all happy enjoying themselves and showcasing so much talent is all I could ever really ask for. Thank you for giving the children such commitment & passion in classes, they truly do love you all! We are so very lucky to have you with us. 🫶
To our chaperones & back stage staff….
You never truly understand the madness of backstage at a show unless you experience it & I thank every single person who gave up their time yesterday to help & support our show. You guys had it all under control & running so smooth. It’s so special to know we have such kind chaperones & adults back there ensuring all children are happy, looked after and doing what they love carelessly.
To my mum - everything backstage would have not been so smooth if it wasn’t for my mum. There is no one else I trust to have everything running by the book and done so well.. we quite literally could not do it without her! 🫶
To all of our dance parents & families …
The biggest thanks goes to you! I feel so privileged to have so many families who choose to dance with us at Unit 14 & without you unit 14 wouldn’t be where it is, or what it is! We love having your children with us, and feel very lucky to have so many wonderful little people to nurture, grow & teach weekly 🥰
To those families who have been here for 5 whole years.. you have been the constant to grow around since the very start. It is very special to me to still have you here & be able to teach your children for that length of time is a complete honour. Thank you for still being here - it has been a pleasure!
To Harry & Arabella -
It’s very rare to find someone who supports and believes in your dreams just like you do. Harry truly does. I feel extremely lucky to have someone by my side who supports me but also go with the flow every year around show time. Picking up the pieces when needed & doing all that’s asked of him whilst still building, and growing his own career too. Everything I do is for our little family & the lovely little life we get to live.. I truly thank you for being my biggest supporter always 💜
5 years may seem small to some .. but for me yesterday was a recognition of all the hard work, dedication and passion that has gone into growing Unit 14 over the years. I am someone who puts 100% into everything I do and I won’t ever give up on something I believe in. The past 5 years have highlighted the perseverance and determination in me, but I would be lying if I said it has been easy. There has been many a time where I have questioned everything & wondered if I’m completely mad.. but days like yesterday prove that it is all worthwhile and seeing everyone out there smiling, having fun doing what they love is what it’s all about for me. I feel so proud that I am able to give the children the opportunity to perform, and have that experience 🥰
Unit 14 is proof that you do not need all of the answers to start.. you just need determination, consistency and the belief that you are capable of more than you think. This is really just the start of Unit 14.. we have SO much more to come, and trust me, we will be here celebrating 10 years, 15 and so on.
There is no better reason than Arabella .. after all I have to show her that dreams ARE worth chasing and that you can do anything you set your mind to ✨
