💛🌼⭐ We’re excited to be taking part in YoungMinds Hello Yellow Day at Farthinghoe Primary School on Friday 9th October! ⭐🌼💛

Pupils can swap one item of school uniform for something yellow – socks, tights, a T-shirt, hair bow or any other yellow item.

The day helps raise awareness of youth mental health and reminds young people that they don’t have to face their struggles alone.

If you would like to, families can make a £1 donation to Hello Yellow/YoungMinds - https://www.youngminds.org.uk/shop/checkout/make-a-donation/

Let’s fill Farthinghoe with yellow and spread a little kindness! Thank you for your support 💛🌟

Next week, as part of our Harvest celebrations, we will be collecting donations for Brackley Foodbank, supporting a very worthy local charity.
The Food Bank has provided a list of items they are currently in need of, which can be found on the image below. Donations can be brought into the school office throughout the week and Mr Emms will hold a short assembly with the children, helping them understand the important role food banks play in supporting people in our local community. Thank you, as always, for your generosity and support. 😃🥫🍪❤️

Lets start as we mean to go on! School Attendance Matters ✅
Every single day at school is an opportunity to learn, grow, build confidence and develop key skills. Regular attendance helps our children to make progress, build friendships and feel part of their school community. At Farthinghoe Community Primary School, we work together with our families to support our children in being in school, ready to learn and ready to thrive. 😀

A local event we thought our families may enjoy attending 🌓🪐🌍👽🛸

Friday 28 August, Stowe House will be hosting six family-friendly shows inside an inflatable planetarium within their grounds. Visitors can choose between ‘We Are Aliens’, an immersive journey through space narrated by Rupert Grint, or a live, interactive introduction to the night sky with award-winning UK Astronomy founder Ross Hockham.
Both experiences are suitable for families with children aged 6+. Shows last approximately 45 minutes and will run throughout the day from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
Tickets cost £6.50 per person, per show, and advance booking includes the added benefit of parking directly at Stowe House.
