A local event we thought our families may enjoy attending 🌓🪐🌍👽🛸

Friday 28 August, Stowe House will be hosting six family-friendly shows inside an inflatable planetarium within their grounds. Visitors can choose between ‘We Are Aliens’, an immersive journey through space narrated by Rupert Grint, or a live, interactive introduction to the night sky with award-winning UK Astronomy founder Ross Hockham.
Both experiences are suitable for families with children aged 6+. Shows last approximately 45 minutes and will run throughout the day from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
Tickets cost £6.50 per person, per show, and advance booking includes the added benefit of parking directly at Stowe House.

We are all super excited for tomorrow’s whole school trip to Gulliver's Land Theme Park-Milton Keynes! Just a few reminders - school times remain as normal, school uniform to be worn (PE tops are fine), packed lunch required and please ensure your child/ren have sun screen applied and a very full cold water bottle! ☀️🎢🎡🎟️ Thank you again to Farthinghoe School Ties for supporting the coach costs of this trip ☺️

☀️ Summer Holiday Food Support for Families ☀️

With the summer holidays here, we wanted to share some offers that may help families save money on food over the break.

🍽️ Free or discounted children's meals are available at a number of restaurants and cafés across the UK this summer. Many family-friendly chains are taking part, although offers vary by location and dates, so it's always worth checking with the venue before you visit.

🥣 Morrisons & Kellogg's UK & Ireland Breakfast Initiative
Kellogg's has partnered with Morrisons cafés across the UK to provide free breakfasts for children (& parents) during the summer holidays.

We hope these offers help make the summer holidays a little easier for families. If you know of any other local food support or children's meal offers, feel free to share them in the comments to help others in our community. 💙

Farthinghoe Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team.

The whole school had an amazing time last week when Giant Journeys came in to deliver their brilliant workshops. Each child (and staff) participated in an immersive journey under the sea! 🐳🐟🐠🦐🪼Thank you to our amazing Farthinghoe School Ties for financially supporting this event and enabling all the children to have such a fantastic morning. 😃
