We were delighted to welcome Dr Tim Mills to South Farnham School for a visit focused on our approach to literacy, writing and pupil development across both our Infant and Junior sites.
Dr Mills toured classrooms and learning environments, exploring our phonics provision, handwriting scheme, writing journey from EYFS through to Year 6, and the targeted interventions that support all pupils to flourish.

He also had the opportunity to meet with school and Trust leaders, including CEO Claire Harnden, to discuss our commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

It was a pleasure to showcase the dedication of our staff and the remarkable progress our pupils make as confident readers and writers.

Thank you, Dr Mills, for your time, insights and interest in the work taking place across South Farnham School.

We are delighted to celebrate this fantastic achievement, recognising the school's ongoing commitment to promoting active travel and making journeys to and from school more sustainable through their continued work with Surrey County Council.
