Representatives of the school were honoured to lay wreaths at a Remembrance Day service on 11th November.

It is our school Harvest Liturgy this Wednesday.
If you would like to, please remember that you children can bring their donations in and leave them in the school; they will be invited to take one item up to their classrooms with them.
Items requested are non-perishable and in date food items, particularly: Angel Delight, UHT Fruit Juice and chunky soups.

Today the ECO council were invited to represent St Polycarp's at the Jubilee Tree Planting event in the town centre. We listened the Mayor, helped plant a special tree to mark the Platinum Jubilee and took some photos. The idea was to create a canopy of trees.

During February, Year 1 undertook a sponsored read to raise funds for Helen Arkell dyslexia centre. We read lots of books and raised nearly £500 in 2 weeks. 'Teddy Arkell' came to collect the money himself. We're so proud of the fundraising the children did and the efforts that Year 1 went to.

Look how busy our children have been over the last week! Learning about castles, measuring angles, active music lessons, scratch programming, gardening and Samba music, to name but a few of the activities. Phew!
