HSL Music is run by Heidi who has vast experience in performance, music teaching & community outreach.

Heidi offers: Singing Lessons / Vocal Coaching, Piano Lessons, Musicianship Lessons & Event performances. Heidi studied musical theatre from the age of 14 at the BRIT School for Performing Arts where she graduated with triple distinction in her national diploma and distinction in grade 8 ABRSM singing. During her time at the BRIT School Heidi won the Belcanto award at E.G.M.A.F, recorded voice ove

rs & gained her Bishops award with the RSCM. Heidi completed her degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance in London. Heidi represented Trinity Laban at the Stephen Sondheim student performer of the year Competition 2011 at the Royal Academy of Music. Having sung in a variety of choirs since the age of 7, Heidi has also facilitated choirs, which prompted her to run her own musical theatre school. Heidi worked at the Orpheus Centre for 5 years, whilst working there Heidi created an inclusive musical theatre company between the Centre & the prestigious Woldingham School; this outreach ran over 4 years. Heidi has performed at a range of events & venues, from London’s 02 arena to quaint village fetes. Alongside singing, Heidi also plays the piano & clarinet. Heidi has completed her Makaton Level 4 to support her ongoing passion for a more inclusive experience of music. Welcome back communications!

We are nearing the end of August and ready to start our new academic year! Wahoo!🎉
We hope you have all had the best summer!

~ Music lessons will recommence on Tuesday 8th September (Monday 14th September will be the 1st Monday back, for music tuition).

~ Our Youth Performance Choirs will start back on Thursday 10th September from 4:30pm!
Please get in touch to book your free trial space for our senior choir at 5:30pm on Thursday 10th September (school years 7-11 / ages 11-16).

I am SO proud of all of my amazing students!
What a wonderful afternoon sharing music, developing skills & celebrating each other no matter where they are on their musical journey! I would like to thank you all for your courage to perform to each other today - the more you get up and have a go, the easier it will become! Thank you to my ace helpers for manning the kitchen! Bravo to all! Here's to the next event!

I feel very proud to have received this unexpected long service award (25years) at my mother Church, alongside Bob (65 years) & Amanda (35 years) I hold close my time spent in All Saints Choir. Church Choirs are declining; such incredible learning & inspiration happen in these choirs; often on a cold wintry evening in the choir stalls, a sudden light bulb moment may embed musical knowledge, or a chorister will sing a beautiful descant. These choirs are the heart our communities & we need to preserve them so future generations can benefit.
When I relocated to North Wales, I went to my village church and immediately felt welcome. The worship, structure & music was so nurturing & it felt like 'home'. I love my church communities here in the North Wales marches & in Crawley Down. I will always sing with the spirit and the understanding also

We are delighted to mark the long service of three of our parish choir members, Amanda Bellisio, Bob Atkins and Heidi Luckens who have received RSCM Long Service Awards. These awards recognise the time, commitment, and dedication they have given over many years. Their regular presence at rehearsals and services has been a vital part of our worship and the life of the choir. They are pictured with our parish music director, Helen Acraman.
