We naturally find a way to lock away trauma, hurt, and unspeakable pain so we don’t have to face it. The conditioned learning of just forgetting it happened, the coping mechanism you find to bring you a way to keep going.

Then you get triggered by something someone says, something you see, something you remember and instantly all the pain, hurt, and trauma resurfaces all at once.

Now, you get to work at a new level where you get to understand and work with the trauma, the pain and hurt; you get to work with it to understand it, rather than locking it away only for the patterns to repeat.

In the moment when you can break the lock, break the cycle, release the trauma cycles. Everything changes; you are free.
