Hard to read, right?

It says: This is what trying to hear speech feels like in noisy environments with hearing loss.

It's that hard to hear through background noise. Several overlapping voices at once feel the same way. We hear some words, lose other words and fill in gaps the best we can using logic.

Sometimes it's even worse than this picture shows.

📚 SECTION 42 CHILDREN & FAMILIES ACT 2014

The Local Authority MUST secure the provision in Section F of an EHCP.

Not:
❌ “We’ll try.”
❌ “School should do it.”
❌ “There’s no funding.”
❌ “We can’t recruit staff.”
❌ “We’ll review it next term.”

MUST means MUST.

If provision is written into Section F, the Local Authority has the legal duty to ensure it happens.

Not suggest it.
Not recommend it.
Not manifest it into existence.
Actually secure it.
