Yesterday, Year 5 went Bell Boating on the Avon and they had a great time! From races to cat walks along the boat, they did it all and definitely got wet! (📷: Mrs Whitby)

What a great first day! From caving to bouncy castle dodgeball, we’ve done it all. We are all tucked up in bed, resting for another busy day of activities.

Severn Class have been exploring art through local history and architecture this week. We began by learning about Fredrick Preedy, who was originally from Offenham and is well known for his beautiful stained glass windows across Worcestershire.

We planned to visit the church to study the windows up close, but unfortunately it was closed. Not to be put off, we adapted our plans and sketched the exterior of the windows instead. Back in class, we used these sketches alongside our knowledge of Preedy’s work to design our own stained glass pieces, combining careful observation with a touch of creativity.
