Highfields Education Maths tuition and practical maths sessions set in a 56 acre farm near Etwall in Derbyshire.

I have taught maths in secondary schools for 20 years in a variety of different settings, including overseas. I have extensive experience of delivering Key stage 3 and GCSE maths as well as Entry Level and vocational courses for students with SEND. I also have lots of experience within the animal care and welfare sector. This has included teaching animal care courses together with functional skills in a college. I have also volunteered with various animal recue charities over the years.

I am an experienced maths teacher now based at a family farm in the Derbyshire countryside.
The farm has some lovely outdoor spaces, an indoor classroom and is home to a variety of animals.
I am now offering -
Maths tuition up to GSCE level.
Outdoor experiences for young people to connect with nature and spend time with animals.
Or a combination of maths tuition and some time on the farm.
Individuals and small groups welcome.
This is a new venture and I am flexible in what I can offer.
