As another wonderful academic year comes to an end, we'd like to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing children and families for your support, kindness, and the many special memories we've shared together.

We are so proud of everything the children have achieved this year.

We wish all of our families a happy, safe, and relaxing summer holiday. Enjoy making precious memories together, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting year!

As we finish school today, we were delighted to recognise our National Year of Reading July competition winners! 📚✨

Our first- and second-place winners each received a book token, while our third-place winner received a special bookmark.
These three talented children are certainly budding authors—who knows, perhaps one day we will see their own stories published!

Well done to everyone who took part, and a huge thank you to Mrs Webber for organising so many wonderful activities throughout the Year of Reading.

We hope everyone will take part in the Summer Reading Challenge at their local library during August. Remember to bring your medals into school in September so that we can celebrate your achievements together! 🏅📖

🧺☀️ What a wonderful lunchtime together! ☀️🧺

A huge thank you to all of our parents, carers and family members who joined us for our annual Lunchtime Picnic today. We were absolutely delighted by the fantastic turnout!

There was such a warm, welcoming atmosphere as families came together to enjoy lunch, chat with one another and spend time with our school community. Events like these are a wonderful reminder of the strong partnerships we have with our families and the positive, supportive community we are so proud to be part of.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. It was a pleasure to see so many smiling faces and children enjoying sharing this time with the people who matter most to them.

Together, we continue to make Lime Wood Primary such a special place to learn, grow and belong. 💚

🎬🍿 A huge thank you to Magma Maths! 🍿🎬 Magma Math

Earlier this year, our incredible Year 1 Faraway Tree class won a fantastic cinema experience through Magma Maths in recognition of their amazing achievement. 🌟

The children made a unanimous decision to bring the cinema experience into school so that they could share their prize with their friends in Year 1 Baobab – a wonderful act of kindness that perfectly reflects our school values.

Together, both classes enjoyed a fantastic afternoon in the hall watching The Magic Faraway Tree, complete with all the excitement of a special cinema experience!

A huge well done once again to Faraway Tree Class for winning this brilliant prize, and thank you for choosing to make it an experience that everyone could enjoy together. We are also incredibly grateful to Magma Mathfor making this memorable day possible.
