What a brilliant day for Brookeborough Primary School at the Clogher Valley Show!

We are still smiling after such a lovely day! It was fantastic to see so many of our pupils getting involved, putting so much time and effort into their entries and proudly representing our little school. 💙

We were delighted to see a wonderful collection of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Highly Commended awards come home with our pupils, along with some very special cups and trophies.

We were very proud to receive the Graham Perpetual Cup – Most Points in Boys’ Exhibits, shared with Carntall Primary School.

A massive well done to every single Brookeborough pupil who entered something. From the smallest entry to the prize-winning exhibits, every piece represented time, effort, imagination and a whole lot of pride.

Days like this are what make being part of a small school community so special. ❤️ We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and loved seeing your hard work recognised.

Well done, Brookeborough Primary — you did us proud!

It is with sadness we inform you of the passing of Edna Thompson. Edna worked in our school kitchen for many years.

A service of thanksgiving for the life of Edna will take place on Saturday at 1.00pm in Aghavea Parish Church, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard.

As a school community we pass on our sincere condolences.

What a wonderful way to round off another fantastic year at Brookeborough Primary School! 💙

Our Celebration Event was a special opportunity to reflect on an incredible 12 months of achievements, memories and success. We also had the privilege of saying a fond farewell to our amazing P7 children as they begin an exciting new chapter. We are so proud of each and every one of them and know they will go on to achieve great things.

A huge thank you to our pupils, staff, parents and wider school community for making this year so memorable. Your support, dedication and encouragement continue to make Brookeborough Primary School such a special place.

What a fantastic way to celebrate a year of hard work, achievements, and success at Brookebrough Primary School!

Today, our pupils enjoyed a well-deserved trip to Fermanagh Fun Farm, marking the culmination of all they have accomplished throughout the year. The weather was hot, but the mood and spirits of the children were even higher!

From meeting and interacting with the animals, to playing, exploring the farm, and making memories with friends, there were smiles everywhere. A lovely picnic in the sunshine and a refreshing ice cream helped keep everyone cool and added the perfect finishing touch to a wonderful day.

We are so proud of everything our pupils have achieved this year and couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate their success.

Another fantastic event for BPS! Jake de Souza is a multidisciplinary artist based between Northern Ireland and Los Angeles who delivered 4 enthralling art lessons for the children in P5-7. His work is deeply connected to Fermanagh but this time he also incorporated a ‘Victorian twist’ as he created art work using our school grounds. The children turned sticks into charcoal, grass into paint and teabags into an art resource. Fabulous learning with lots of fun! And a big thank you to our PTFA for making this all happen 👏 A Wee Bit Of Grass

Mrs Robinson is a truly skilled and talented FS teacher, whose care, dedication and skill create such a nurturing environment where children feel safe to express themselves, take risks in their learning and confidently explore the world around them. Her commitment to fostering each child’s individual strengths is evident in everything she does.
Mrs McDowell and Mrs Andrews are also instrumental in supporting learning throughout the classroom. Together, this exceptional team works tirelessly to ensure that the needs of every child come first, providing opportunities for all children to thrive, grow and succeed.
The positive atmosphere, strong relationships and child-centred approach within the Foundation Stage are truly a credit to the whole team.
