🥧👑Are You Eating Galette des Rois Today?
🇫🇷 In France a Galette des Rois, or King Cake, is made especially for the Epiphany, observed on 6 January. It's a traditional dessert to honour the three kings who travelled to visit the baby Jesus in Bethlehem. It is baked throughout January and usually comprising of two circles of puff pastry sandwiched with a frangipane filling and decorated with a crown.

👸🤴 A trinket, called a fève or bean, is usually baked into it. Whoever finds the trinket wears the crown and becomes the King or Queen for the day!

I hope you all had a great and relaxing summer. How many of you were able to go to France or Spain? Unfortunately, France wasn't our destination for this year, between amber plus and the PCR tests, we decided to go to North Wales... Oh là là.



I would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone at Ecole Nicole as we have had some wonderful results once again and parents/students feedback has been so incredible. A few below:


I started year 10 fully expecting a 3 or 4 grade in my French GCSE, only with the help of Ecole Nicole was I able to get a grade 9. The teaching quality is great, helping me wrap my head around topics and grammatical structures I couldn't quite grasp in class. Would definitely recommend! Valerie Khimey



My experience with Ecole Nicole was transformational! Deborah was recommended by my sister as both my kids (1 studying for GCSEs and the other A Levels) were struggling with speaking.
