Our Year 3/4 and 5/6 Spelling Bee teams did us proud yesterday when they took part in the ETSP Spelling Bee Semi-Final! We are so proud of you!

A massive well done to Year 5 for kicking off this Year’s ‘Use it or lose it’ assemblies!

They had to dig deep into their long term memories and create an assembly based on last terms learning… for them, this is what they learned in Year 4! They shared some great knowledge that they have retained from the history and science learning!

A big thank you to all of the parents who came to support today!

Our Year 6 booster sessions are well underway! In this week’s maths booster, the children revised their understanding of multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1,000! They had to show their understanding by finishing the puzzle as quickly as possibly! 🧩 a massive thank you to the teachers who are dedicating their own time to making these successful!

Suffolks Primary School is using Easyfundraising as a way of raising additional funds for the school so that we can continue to give our children lots of lovely experiences!

Over the last 6 weeks, have been training 10 of our children to become Mindfulness Mentors!

The children have focused on a range of mindfulness techniques; this week they have applied these techniques to run their own mindfulness sessions across the school! Children in Years 1-5 all had a moment of calm lead by our wonderful mentors!

We are incredibly proud of our mindfulness mentors and so grateful to for all of their support with this amazing project!

📖 At Suffolks, we love to read! Every day, we have dedicated time where every class sits and listens to a fantastic story read by the teacher!

IT’S BEEN ENGRAVED! In the summer term, pupils from Suffolks Primary School won the STEM fair! The children worked incredibly hard and we wanted to share with you a few pictures and our winning shield!

A massive well done to our now Y6 pupils! And thank you to for running such a brilliant event! We can’t wait to see if we can retain the shield this summer!

Year 4 came to show some of their science work today - they have been learning all about states of matter! 🧪 🧫 🧬

Last week, Pumpkin Class were learning all about where their name comes from! They even had a go at carving their own pumpkin 🎃 this is a great activity to work on those fine motor skills which support with handwriting and drawing! ✍️
