Just a reminder that if you are claiming “working parent entitlement “ 30hrs funding, you need to make sure your code is still eligible for September. This can be done via the HMRC portal.

Happy Mew Year to you all! We look forward to seeing this week for the start of the new term. Just a quick note to let you know that the rooms have been changed from this term. We will be sending out letters this week, but in the meantime there will be a board in the front garden to let you know which room your child is in each session. Any problems, just see one of the team. 🙂

On Friday 24th October we will be taking part in “Wear it Pink” to raise awareness of breast cancer. The event is organised by Breast Cancer Now and we are hoping to raise as much money as possible to support this worthy cause. So please join us in wearing something pink on Friday! Friday is Group photo day for our leavers. If your child is leaving Paintbox this term and does not attend on Fridays , please bring them to the setting for 9.10 sharp. 🙂

As part of our preparations for children transitioning to Receotiin Class , we will be having our leavers class photo on Friday 13th.

If your child does not usually attend, we will be sending further details via email of how they can take part in the photo session.

We are hoping that as many of our class leavers can be there as possible, as this is such a lovely keepsake of their time at Paintbox 📸👦🧒👧 💙

A reminder that children attending tomorrow’s morning session are to arrive at 8.50. This is to allow us to get to assembly at the school for 9.

Half term is nearly here. Just a reminder that we have a lot of lost property ranging from clothing to plastic containers.

In addition to this we have a whole box of winter hats, gloves and scarves that have not been claimed.

This week will be the last opportunity to to have a look through and claim lost property or the winter items.

Please feel free to take a look. Everything will be outside at the beginning and end of the day. Anything unclaimed will be taken to a charity where they can be put to good use.

From Grace - The company I work for is giving away five interactive whiteboards that we no longer use.

We’re looking for suggestions of charities in Ely that could benefit from them. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

We have an overflowing box of lost property at the setting. Without names we are unable to reunite them with their owners.

We have had the items outside each session and they have not been claimed. As it is approaching half term, we will be leaving the box outside as usual, any item not claimed by the end of the week will be taken to a charity shop.
