Sophie has always had a passion for fashion illustration, she was given a stencil sketchbook when she was little and used to love creating different combinations, adding glitter and going crazy with the numerous different outfits! She studied Art and Design at college where her 2 biggest inspirations were flowers (following in her Gran’s footsteps!) and using mixed media to make fashion art. At un

iversity she studied surface design and printed textiles where her main focus was creating patterns with florals, focusing on the delicacy of linework and pops of colour. A few years after graduating she reignited her passion for fashion illustrating. Initially through abstract sketches (known as ‘little ladies’) and has now developed into her own style to create bespoke illustrations of the wedding party, bride and groom and guests.

Okay but really let’s dive into why live illustration is worth the money-

•You are literally getting an artist creating bespoke pieces of artwork for you and your loved ones. At your wedding.
•Having an illustrator also provides entertainment on your day- while you’re having your photos taken I’m there drawing your guests.
•Really it’s at least 2 in 1?!
•They LOVE having that outfit that they’ve spent so long carefully curating, turned into a chic, elegant fashion illustration. Highlighting those details they’ve been obsessing over
• Even Bob your uncle will want to get involved

The sun was setting over the cliffs of Marseille as the paints were shimmering off the fans of the guests ☀️

When Apricity Event Co contacted me regarding a wedding weekend in Marseille for A&A I didn’t believe my luck- they mentioned fans at the welcome event which I’d never done before. I quickly realised I could paint to compliment the outfits. We had so much fun and it’s safe to say everyone else did too!
