A few weeks ago Baabara and Soozie had a haircut! 🐑✂️

The children had the wonderful opportunity to watch our sheep being sheared. There was lots of curiosity as we talked about why sheep need their wool removed to keep them cool and comfortable, especially as the weather gets warmer. They even got a chance to feel some of the wool!

We’ve been making regular visits to see Baabara and Soozie at feeding time, and it’s always such a joy! They’ve been especially happy with the warmer weather and it's lovely to see the sheep more comfortable and relaxed.

Well done to all our little learners for being so gentle, respectful, and engaged throughout the experience! 🌿💛

📚✨ World Book Day at Ellingham House! ✨📚
Our children had a wonderful day celebrating their favourite stories!

🖍 Toddlers Room dressed up as the colourful characters from the book The Day the Crayons Quit.
🌳 In the Conservatory, the children explored the story of The Gruffalo's Child.
🐞 Rachel’s favourite story is What the Ladybird Heard.
🐷 And our Pre-School children had fun with the classic tale The Three Little Pigs.

It was a day full of imagination, costumes, and a love for reading. Well done to all our little storytellers! 📖💫

Celebrating 30 wonderful years of growing little minds, big dreams, and bright futures 🌱✨

From tiny first steps to confident school starters, our nursery has been a place of laughter, learning, and love for three amazing decades.

We’ve had such a lovely week celebrating friendship, kindness and love at Ellingham! ❤️

The children enjoyed sensory play with our Valentine’s tuff trays by scooping, pouring and making heart shapes in the flour, exploring different textures and developing their fine motor skills. 🥄✨

We created a beautiful heart using cardboard tubes, decorated with lots of red and pink crafts, and explored mark-making and creative play at our themed activity tables. 🎨💌

We also practiced kindness by talking about what makes us kind and how we can show love through sharing, helping and using kind words. 🥰

It’s been a week full of smiles, creativity and lots of love!💖
