Josh represented Lakelands at the Shropshire Schools Track and Field Championships in Telford on 13th June, where he won gold in Shot with 10.69m and bronze in Discus with 25.37m

This secured him a place to represent Shropshire in the Shot in The Mason Trophy in Stoke on 20th June where he achieved a personal best of 11.02m.

Josh rounded off his achievements this season with a school record breaking personal best of 12.80m in the Shot at Sports Day earlier this month.🥇👏🩵

Massive congratulations to the year 7 football team who won the tournament beating a school from Reading in the final. We went 7 games unbeaten, beating schools from London, Telford and Stoke. They were a credit to the school, showed sportsmanship and respect throughout and we are incredibly proud of them for this.⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽🏆🏆🏆🏆

Last Thursday, we were delighted to hold a special rewards assembly celebrating the reading achievements of our Year 9 students.
After three years on the Accelerated Reader programme, Y9 have now completed their KS3 reading journey, and this assembly was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their hard work, progress and commitment to reading.
Well done to all the students who made progress with their reading throughout the programme, and huge congratulations to all our award winners. We’re incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved and hope you carry a love of reading with you for life.
