What a fantastic day our Year 1 children had at Ness Gardens last Friday!

The children enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the beautiful gardens, discovering a wide variety of plants and flowers, sowing their own seeds, and being at one nature. Year 1 loved spotting waterfalls and lots of fascinating wildlife along the way!

The children represented our school brilliantly, and we could t be prouder of their excellent behaviour throughout the day.

A huge thank you to everyone at Ness Gardens for making our day so special and an even bigger thank you to Kirsty, our amazing tour guide! 🌳🍂

It has been a busy start to the weekend for Little Sutton!

A huge well done to our six wonderful school choir representatives who performed at St Paul’s Summer Fair today!

Their beautiful singing was a joy to listen to, and they represented both themselves and our school with confidence, enthusiasm, and pride. We are so proud of each and every one of them – they were absolutely amazing! 👏

If you're looking for something to do this afternoon, St Paul’s Summer Fair is open until 3:00pm. There's still plenty of time to pop along, and don't forget to visit the church, where some of our pupils' fantastic artwork is on display. We'd love for you to take a look and celebrate their wonderful creativity too!

Well done again to our fantastic singers, and thank you to everyone who has supported them today. 🎵✨

A huge thank you to all of our families, friends, and members of the community who came along and supported our Summer Fair. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying the day, and we were incredibly lucky that the sun came out to make it even more special!

Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without the hard work and dedication of so many people. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped with the planning, preparation, setting up, running stalls and activities, donating prizes, volunteering their time, and staying behind to tidy up afterwards. Your commitment and support made the event such a success!

Most of all, thank you to everyone who attended. Your support means so much and helps create a wonderful sense of community.
We hope you all had a fantastic time and made some lovely memories.

We can't wait to do it all again next year! 🌞🎉

There were some great teamwork skills shown on transition moving up to Year 4. We used spaghetti and blue tac to see if we could build a tall tower within a certain time. We have learnt that sometimes plans don’t always work perfectly and it’s good to talk about how we could have done things differently next time! There were some great teamwork skills!

In Year 2, we have been practising telling the time using an analogue clock. We have worked hard to master telling the time to the quarter hour and we are beginning tell the time in 5 minute intervals. This has been very tricky and we have shown super active listening and resilience skills!
