The Benchworks is a jewellery manufacture and repair business located in Elgin, Moray. With 25 years experience in the jewellery industry, we specialise in jewellery supply, bespoke jewellery, remodelling and repairs of all types. Predominately working in silver, you can learn some of the traditional techniques used by goldsmiths. These include, piercing (sawing), soldering, forming and shaping, f

inishing and polishing. As well as basic rubover stone setting. Evening classes run in five week blocks on Monday evenings or full day Saturday workshops, approximately once a month. Classes are held at 14 Harrow Inn Close, Elgin IV30 1BP. We had such a fun class on Saturday, a great one to get back to work after the holidays. This class was a collaboration with MADE-Moray Arts Development Engagement.
Some of the pieces had an anatomical element.. I’m not posting them all 😂🤭🫣

Today was the second Christmas class and the last class of the year.
We spent a lovely few hours hand making baubles from brass (and one copper). They all look amazing!
