Teachers and staff at Echt School are looking forward to welcoming all our new and returning pupils back to school tomorrow morning! 😊

PE Days

* P1/2: Wednesday & Thursday afternoons*
* P3–5: Tuesday & Thursday
* P5–7: Monday & Tuesday

*Please note that P1 pupils will not have PE until the week commencing 31st August, as their PE sessions take place in the afternoon.

Pupils should come to school wearing their PE kit on PE days. As PE may take place outdoors, we recommend a T-shirt and shorts, with a sweatshirt and joggers available for cooler weather.

Please find attached a copy of the school lunch menu to help your child choose their meals.

We also ask that pupils bring a refillable water bottle to school each day.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and to a happy start to the new school year!

All pupils should wear PE kit, with a T-shirt in their house colour (if possible) for school potted sports tomorrow. This is an in school activity, without spectators.

Hayfever season is upon us. Please administer any drops, sprays or medications before school - especially when the pollen count is high.

School Trip Reminder 🚌

Please ensure your child wears their school uniform tomorrow and brings a packed lunch. The forecast is for warm weather with some showers, and several activities will take place outdoors, so please bring suitable outer layers for changing conditions. Thank you.

P4-7 - Bring a box to school Tuesday 16th June 📦

Primary 4-7 pupils will be creating the backdrop for their Stop Motion animation tomorrow. Each group will need a cardboard box which is no smaller than a shoe box. If you have a suitable box please bring one in for your group.

Materials to decorate these will be available in school, though pupils are welcome to bring in additional items that may enhance their project.

The Green Goblin Car Race has ended sooner that anticipated. The bus may arrive closer to 3.30, rather than 4pm. If you can't make it for 3.30, we will keep your child safe and well at school until you arrive.

Exciting news!

Here is the link where you can listen/ download our new Echt song “This is Our Home” by the Echt Allstars. The vocals, instrumentation, lyrics and album cover art were all created by children in our P4-7 class.

We would like to thank singer songwriters Adam Ross & Jenny Sturgeon for the 6 fantastic sessions they had with us as part of the Youth Music Initiative.

Remember sun hats, suncream and a water bottle. If wearing a sweatshirt for PE, pupils should have a T-shirt underneath so they have an option to remove the top layer. 🥵
