The Year of the Ox is approaching and we're looking forward to welcoming the Lunar New Year. Also known as the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year, the Year of the Ox starts on 12 February and ends on 30 January 2022.

According to the Chinese Zodiac people born in a year of the Ox are honest, trustworthy, diligent, dependable, strong and determined.

Celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Ox with our interactive online festival presented with music artist KALA CHNG in association with lots of community partners and friends. We'll be marking the occasion with music, dance, talks, craft activities, storytelling, meditation, Chi Kung (comparable to yoga), a panel discussion on being East Asian and South East Asian in the UK, and lots more. Look out for messages from Marvin Rees, Mayor of Bristol, The Mayor of Guangzhou and our friends in China!
