Join our experienced, collaborative team, working alongside our existing Dad Matters Co-ordinator to grow and strengthen our support for dads across the borough.

A red heat-health alert is in place across southern England and the Midlands. This means extreme heat could affect everyone, including healthy people, and may also impact transport, food, water and energy. This is only the second time a red alert has been issued, the last being in July 2022.

As the weather gets warmer it will be great to open windows and let the fresh air in. But toddlers and young children are at greatest risk of falling out and suffering serious injuries. Partly because their heads are heavy compared with their body so they can easily topple.

Fortunately, it doesn’t take much to keep them safe.
