Wednesday work Telford Tutoring 🍎

30/09/2026

I hear the question "Claire, can I tell you something?" almost every lesson. It was in the middle of handwriting this afternoon. The child said that when they come here lots of times they will have a plaque on the wall because they are going to be famous. Then they added "I don't know how I'm going to be famous, but I am!"
They also recommended Star wars to me "because it's actually really good!" 😂
In between the chatting we had a really successful time of learning. One child is really improving with his number and letter writing. We also did some times tables, reading and work on 3D shape. The mermaid made a guest appearance again. She obviously enjoyed it so much last week and was accompanied by a little dog who also had to be in the photo. 🙂
If you would like me to help your child with their learning, feel free to message me to find out more.

Minion Monday! Telford Tutoring🙂

28/09/2026

A minion named Bob was an extra guest at this afternoon's lesson. We kept a Minions theme, with times tables games and some work on arrays. We finished with some work on doubles and a doubles game.
I'm told Kevin the Minion will be joining us next week. 🙂

A beautiful mermaid joined us this afternoon for one of the lessons. 🧜‍♀️ 😁
The children worked hard this afternoon and both have made great progress and are becoming more confident, especially when they get things right.
An important learning point today: it's OK to make a mistake. 🙂 We change it and carry on and that's how we learn.
If you would like me to help your child with their confidence and learning, please message me for more details. ⏬️
