"Last weekend my friends and I took part in a Murder Mystery dinner at the Mowbray hotel for my hen party. We had a fantastic time! From the start, when planning the event, Darren was very helpful with information and it was no problem to cater for dietary needs. On arrival, we were greeted with welcome fizz in what I would refer to as the ‘drawing room’ for our setting!

We then went downstairs for a 3-course meal which was delicious and plentiful! In-between courses we learnt more information about our characters and the situation surrounding the ‘murder’ then mingled with each other to quiz each other (all the while in character with our 1920s costumes and dodgy accents!). The actor leading our evening and the hotel staff were great fun and provided a very good service - we didn’t want for anything.

I would highly recommend this hotel for a private Murder Mystery function - myself and many of my friends have described it as the best night they’ve had in ages. It’s certainly something different to do!"
