There was a wonderful atmosphere at Retford Oaks Academytoday as year 11 students gathered to receive their GCSE results. Staff, students and families came together to celebrate their achievements and recognise the hard work, resilience and determination they have shown throughout their time at the academy.

A big congratulations to all our GCSE students on their results today! 🥳

We would like to invite students to our sixth form enrolment day at 9am on Thursday 3 September.

We look forward to welcoming them back to Retford Oaks Academy for the next step of their education

Jennifer is very pleased with her results this morning “I was really hoping for a 9 in maths as I’ve been a few marks off all year, so I’m really happy I got it! ”

Achieving grade 9s in maths, biology and physics, she plans to study maths, politics, law and history at A level.

Jennifer also earned three 8s and two 7s. She’s heading to Meadowhall with her family for some celebratory shopping. Well done Jennifer!

Annabel and Ruby are so excited to start the steps steps of their further education!

Annabel is heading off to college to study health and social care, with an ambition of becoming a social worker.

Meanwhile Ruby is starting her teacher training to become a teaching assistant.

Fantastic results for Kas this morning who has earned a staggering four grade 9s!

Maths, chemistry, physics and Chinese are among his highest-scoring subjects, with him also achieving three grade 8s and one grade 7.
