3 memory bears went to their forever homes this morning.
They were made for 3 sisters who sadly lost their parents. All identical and created from their dads fleece jackets and their mums jacket. ❤️

On Saturday 19th September, we’d love to see our community come together for the Bassetlaw Hospice Pyjama Walk! 🌙

Starting from Bassetlaw Hospice at 7pm, we’ll be heading out on a 2.2-mile circular walk around Retford and everyone is welcome.

Bring your family, bring your friends, round up your workmates, pull on your PJs and come and walk with us in support of your local hospice. 💜

Just a little update from my sewing table… 🧵

I’ve finished 2 out of the 3 memory bears in this order! 🐻🐻

Two are all stitched, stuffed, and ready — just the final one to go, then they’ll all be on their way to their new home. 💛

✨ Wonderful news to share!

I was recently approached by Martin Hancock of Hancock Funeral Directors who asked me if I could create a selection of my memory bears to showcase in his premises. 🤍

Today I’ve delivered them, and they’re now on display for families to see—so they can see exactly how we turn cherished clothing into something soft, meaningful and lasting.

It feels so special to know my work is in a place like this, where people are looking for something kind and meaningful. Every bear I make is stitched with real care, and I’m so proud they’re there for everyone to see. Thank you so much for this opportunity!

This memory bear was created using a much loved nan's christmas jumper and her Man United shirt.
I managed to fit most of the logos onto the bear using the footpads, ears and the back of the head.

✨ Busy day here at Julie’s Memory Bears & Keepsakes! 🧸

Lots going on: carefully stuffing each piece, making sure every seam is closed nice and strong, stitching those little noses by hand, and finishing everything off with careful gift wrapping. Every part is done slowly and properly 🧵🪡

My latest memory bear and keepsake order has been collected today.
3 memory bears, 1 unicorn and 1 cushion lovingly made for my customer who sadly lost her sister.
She asked me to make a memory bear for her mum out of a Christmas nightie, 1 unicorn and 1 memory bear for her niece's who sadly lost their mum. The other memory bear is for my customers daughter and the cushion is for her auntie.
It was such an honor to have been asked to turn these precious nighties into something the family can treasure forever. ❤️

I just wanted to say that
all your orders are so special to me. I treat every memory bear with the love, respect and care that they deserve. ❤️
I’m only happy, when I would be happy to receive it myself.
I don’t put a time limit on each memory bear, they take as long as they take.
I would also like to say, thank you to each and every one of you for supporting my little business and those that have joined recently.
It really means a lot ❤️
