Looking for an exam centre for Autumn 2026?

Better EdSpace is an independent exam centre in East Grinstead welcoming private candidates, including home-educated students, independent learners and resit candidates.

๐Ÿ‚ Autumn 2026 bookings are now open.

GCSE English Language and Mathematics (16+) are available through AQA, OCR and Pearson Edexcel, alongside a wide range of International GCSEs through Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge International.

Our standard fee is ยฃ250 per subject, including examination entry, administration and standard invigilation.

We aim to make the examination experience as straightforward and comfortable as possible, with a calm, friendly environment and support throughout the entry process.

Did you know that Better EdSpace is also an Arts Award Centre? I'm getting ready to post out our very first set of certificates to a lovely group of young people who have worked hard and developed their creative skills.

Get in touch if you would like to find out more. We'd especially love to hear from any freelance Arts Awards Advisors who could expand the creative options we can offer to our young learners!

Well, that was IMMENSE!! I loved every second of it! And how amazing that it didn't even get as dark as I expected - wild just how much energy comes from even a sliver of sun :-)

Thank you to the lovely people who sent me messages about the fun they had with the glasses, and those who offered a wee donation (which I will gratefully spend on science-y things for the learners at Better EdSpace)! Sharing the eclipse love all around :-)
