Three of the most valuable treatments to master as an injector...

But knowing HOW to inject them individually isn’t what creates a beautiful profile.

The real skill is understanding the ratios + relationship between all 3.

How changing the chin alters the perception of the nose.
How the lips sit between them.

How much correction each feature actually needs.

when to STOP.

Because great profile balancing is a totally different approach to perfecting every individual feature.

How would you approach these lips?

Complex lips that lack symmetry, with dips, deficits & uneven tissue distribution on smiling…

means you can’t follow a standard injection pattern.

You have to a clear strategy
otherwise, the potential is never maximised.

When there’s a volume deficit, technique has to become more intricate.

My preference here:

29g needle + low viscosity filler

I start with two standard fans, needle angled in the direction of the vermilion to create lift

Repeat on the other side…

& then with the very tip of the needle, I add 2 micro fans directly into the deficit skimming the wet/dry border

To finish, I blend with linear threading along the wet/dry border

You’ll notice slightly more trauma to the tissue where I’ve blended away the asymmetry.

I think the narrative around non-surgical rhinoplasty can be irrationally fear-driven.

Yes, no doubt it’s a higher-risk procedure.

But working away from the superior nasal/glabellar region, using an insulin needle and placing tiny aliquots of dermal filler allows for incredibly precise placement.

Alongside careful observation of capillary refill throughout.

In this case, just a few strategically placed deposits were enough to optically straighten the dorsal profile and create a more balanced contour.

Understanding the anatomy, injection depth and placement parameters, alongside continual tissue assessment, really matters.

Because higher risk shouldn’t automatically mean avoiding injecting noses entirely.

It should mean better anatomical knowledge, considered patient selection and greater precision in the way we inject.

And with those things in place, non-surgical rhinoplasty can create a significant profile change that may negate the need for surgery.

I STILL get excited when I’m injecting a fresh set of lips… 😁

Every client comes in with a unique brief, and this one was:

“Natural… but make the shape POP please.”

With so many techniques in the locker, it’s easy to overcomplicate virgin lips.

But when I get a brief like this, my go-to approach is:

→ A superficial micro-fanning pattern for controlled lift, whilst minimising unnecessary projection.

Alongside some subtle reinforcement of the vermilion border with micro threads, using a low-viscosity product and a 30G needle.

Expect a little more bruising with virgin lips — untreated tissue can be slightly less forgiving, but tends to become more robust with subsequent treatments.

The result?

Natural… but the shape is POPPING. 😁

Three injectable skills I think EVERY advanced injector should have in their locker right now.

Because some of the most expensive-looking transformations I create...

actually use surprisingly little product.

The skill isn’t adding MORE.

It’s knowing exactly where a small correction will have the biggest influence on the profile as a whole.

A subtle nasal tip adjustment.

Considered chin projection.

Lip enhancement that connects the two.

Small corrections. BIG visual impact.

And because patients increasingly want to look their BEST without looking obviously treated; I’ve found this an incredibly valuable treatment package within my own clinic.

Loose, crepey abdominal skin gets treated like a surface problem. Most of the time it isn’t.

It’s collagen loss. The dermis has lost its structural support, and surface tightening alone doesn’t fix what’s happening underneath.

That’s exactly why Radiesse works so well here.

This isn’t a volumising filler adding bulk, it’s a biostimulator, stimulating Type I collagen production and working with the tissue to rebuild support from within, rather than just filling space.

That’s why you’ll see me fanning it across the treatment zone rather than placing it in one or two spots.

and still struggle with the nuances of integrating an ageing lower face.

Because when you’re looking at chin rejuvenation in a 40+ case, it’s essential to be able to look at your patient and understand:

What am I actually seeing here and WHY is it happening?
Reduced structural support?

Soft-tissue descent?

Loss of perioral support?

Muscular influence?

Changes occurring at different tissue depths?

Once you learn how to read the anatomy behind the ageing pattern, your treatment plan becomes far more intelligent.

You’re no longer focusing on surface level symptoms
You’re selecting which areas + tissue planes actually need treating and connecting them as one aesthetic unit.
