Our summer books are ready to go! Suitable for tutors or parents they offer an 11 week summer programme to prepare your child for their 11 Plus exam from year 2 to year 5.

We are an Ealing Tuition business based in South Ealing and Northfields and we have been running for over 10 years. We offer tuition at 11 Plus exam level or general tuition.

As ever, our pupils have been awarded many scholarships. Why is this? I think this comes down to several factors:
1) Promoting reading good quality literature:
I have researched many 11 Plus papers to understand the reading level you need for the 11 Plus. I have then personally developed tailored reading lists, all available on my website (advancedthinkingtuition.co.uk), and I have read each book included. We began a new reading scheme last year, and part of our tuition curriculum includes children reading one book from our list every half term and writing a book review. We have a chat about the chosen book, discussing the plot and characters, which is both enjoyable and checks that the child has read the book and fully understands it.
2) Using high-quality workbooks:
If you want a scholarship you need to use a high-quality, proven scheme of work. Our books at Advanced Thinking Tuition were written by qualified teachers with many years of experience and knowledge. They are also available on my website advancedthinkingtuition.co.uk. These can be taught face to face, or you can purchase a PDF for teaching online. They are suitable for 1:1 tuition, group tuition, and for parents to use. This is a 35-week programme over three terms and provides you with all you need for the 11 Plus for English and Maths. They are updated every year and suitable for all schools that require English and Maths.
3) Practice, practice, practice!
We prepare using actual 11 Plus papers from academic schools to ensure that our children are resilient and able to use any format for exams, whilst comfortably working a year beyond the national curriculum. The mark schemes are written in-house and of high quality.

And so, another year and cycle for the 11 Plus completes at Advanced Thinking Tuition. Our results this year were possibly our best yet:
