ICCL PGR Conference 2019 is now open for registration
The Institute of Commercial and Corporate Law, Durham Law School, invites postgraduate students in all sub-disciplines of Commercial Law and related fields to attend the upcoming PGR conference: Commercial Law: New Challenges and Opportunities.
Place: Durham Law School, Palatine Centre, Stockton Rd, Durham DH1 3LE. (Hogan Lovells Lecture Theatre).
You are invited to register for attending the conference on the: 10th June 2019. The registration for attendance is free. ICCL will arrange a welcoming pack to prospective attendees.

Call for Papers - ICCL Annual Postgraduate Research Conference ‘Commercial Law in Times of Change’
9am – 5pm, Monday 4 June 2018
The Institute of Commercial and Corporate Law (ICCL) at Durham Law School, Durham University is pleased to invite submissions from postgraduate research students and academics for its Annual Postgraduate Research Conference. This conference is organised by postgraduate researchers, chaired by academic specialists, and provides a fantastic opportunity for postgraduate students to practice their presentation skills, showcase their research, and obtain useful feedback in a friendly and supportive environment.
We welcome papers and posters from all PGR students and early career researchers undertaking research in the broad area of commercial and business law. This includes but is not limited to commercial law, corporate law, corporate governance, competition law, banking and financial regulation, intellectual property, insolvency law, commercial arbitration, and law of taxation.
Keynote Speaker
Professor Emilios Avgouleas (Professor of International Banking Law and Finance), University of Edinburgh.
How to submit
Please email your submissions to [email protected] by 23.59 Sunday 22 April 2018. This email should be titled “ICCL Conference Submission,” and include the following:
Title and subject of your paper or poster (e.g. ‘Title of paper - Corporate governance’).
Abstract of your paper or poster (No more than 300 words).
Biography: including your name and your university/research institute (No more than 100 words).
Successful applicants will be informed by Monday 30 April 2018 and will be required to submit their presentation slides by Friday 1 June 2018.
We will offer a limited amount of travel subsidies to successful applicants.
