Wishing these three brilliant ladies the very best of luck as they head off on their next adventures in dance!

Lily has been part of TIN for many years and is heading to Northern School of Contemporary Dance to study Contemporary Dance Performance.

Bella, who has danced with us over the last few years, is off to Falmouth University to study Dance and Choreography.

And Rosie, who has danced with TIN for many years before beginning her own teaching journey with us, and is now off to study an MA in Creative Dance Education at The Place.

We’re so proud to have been part of their dance journeys and can’t wait to see where they go next. We miss you all at TIN!

The doors are open!

Today, TIN Dance House officially welcomed its very first participants through the doors, and we couldn’t be happier to finally see our new home come to life.

After months of preparation, it feels incredibly special to see the space being used for exactly what it was created for: giving our participants a place to dance together and call their own.

This is just the beginning for TIN Dance House, and we’re so excited for everything still to come as we continue to settle in, develop the building and make it our own.

Such a momentous event in our story would not be possible without the generous support of key funders including Sir James Knott Trust, The Barbour Foundation, The Catherine Cookson Charitable Trust, Durham Freemasons, Durham County Council the Better Youth Spaces Fund (delivered by Social Investment Business) as well as countless members of our community as part of our ‘A home for Every Body’ individual giving campaign. Thank you all!

💛 Thank you & good luck, Katharine! 💛

We’re saying a very fond farewell to our wonderful Company Manager, Katharine, as she begins an exciting new chapter in her career.

Katharine has been such a valued part of our team. We’re incredibly grateful for everything she has brought to TIN Arts over the years.

While we’re very sad to see her go, we also wish her every success and happiness in her new job.

You’ll be hugely missed by us all, Katharine. Thank you for everything, and good luck for this next adventure!

Due to the latest weather forecast, we've made the decision to move today's IncludFEST event indoors to Spennymoor Town Hall.

The event will still run from 12pm to 4pm, with the same fantastic programme of performances, dance workshops and creative activities.

This decision has been made to help keep everyone safe, comfortable and able to enjoy the day whatever the weather brings.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to Spennymoor Town Hall today.

Four weeks today! 🎉

In just four weeks, we’ll be opening the doors to TIN Dance House and welcoming our participants into the building for the very first time!

There’s been lots of progress already, but there’s still plenty to do. We’re working hard each day to get everything ready for you, and we can’t wait to welcome you into our new home 🏠

A huge thank you to Biffa and Jewson for supporting the refurbishment of our new home, TIN Dance House.

Biffa kindly provided us with a complimentary skip, and Jewson Spennymoor generously donated paint and decorating supplies to help transform the space.

Support like this makes a real difference, helping us invest more into creating an accessible, welcoming space.

Thank you for helping us bring TIN Dance House to life.

Great news!

Following this morning's weather check, IncludFEST will go ahead today at Victoria Jubilee Park, Spennymoor.

The forecast shows that we're good to go, so we'll see you from 12pm to 4pm for an afternoon of free performances, dance workshops and creative activities.

As always, we'd recommend dressing for the weather and bringing waterproofs just in case of the odd shower.

We can't wait to see you there!

We're keeping a close eye on tomorrow's weather forecast ahead of IncludFEST.

We'll review the latest forecast at 8:00am tomorrow morning and make a final decision by 9:00am on whether the event will take place at Victoria Jubilee Park or move to Spennymoor Town Hall.

We'll share an update across our social media channels as soon as possible after the decision has been made.

Thank you for your patience while we make the safest decision for everyone involved.
