Join us for a special event with Dr Fiona Hill, Chancellor of Durham University, in conversation with Prof Thom Brooks, Principal of Collingwood College and Professor of Law and Government.

When: 30 October
1pm – Meet & greet with Dr Fiona Hill (open to all students, Vern)
1:30–2:30pm – Conversation with Dr Hill and Prof Brooks (Common Room)

This discussion will explore how universities today navigate growing political and cultural pressures around free speech, intellectual enquiry, and the production of knowledge that can challenge power. Together, Dr Hill and Prof Brooks will reflect on what this environment means for university leadership, engagement with politics and public discourse, and the role of higher education in shaping the future.

As we are nearing the move to Rushford Court as a College, we are building relationships with the local community.
Today Jamie (Liaison Officer) and Leaona (College Coordinator) helped the Friends of St Margaret’s tidy the churchyard for an open day on Sunday.
If anyone is interested in volunteering send us a message!
