And that’s a wrap on our summer antics! 📚☀️

We spent today at a lovely market in York, surrounded by books, families and plenty of brilliant conversations. Best of all, lots of our books found new loving homes and are heading off on their next adventures. 🥰📖

It’s been a busy summer taking our animals qnd children's books out and about, meeting so many wonderful families along the way. Now it’s time to head home, recharge, and get ready for everything we’ve got planned next. 🌿🐝

A lovely day at the Durham Market Book Festival today! 📚💚

It was brilliant meeting so many families and chatting to children who genuinely love reading. There’s something really special about seeing young readers excited about books, choosing their next story and telling me all about the characters and adventures they enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, had a chat, took part in the activities or picked up one of my books. Seeing my stories heading home with new little readers will never get old. 🥰📖

What a fantastic day at Christ Church, Felling today! 🐍🦎🐾

A huge thank you to all of the children and families who came along and met our animals. You were absolutely brilliant!

Everyone showed such kindness and respect towards the animals, listened carefully and followed the instructions given. This is incredibly important to us, as making sure everyone has an enjoyable experience while keeping animal welfare at the heart of everything we do is always our priority. 💚

One of my favourite parts of the day was seeing some of you face your fears — we even had a few people who were nervous around snakes find the courage to hold or touch one! 🐍👏

You should be very proud of yourselves — I certainly am!

Back at Durham Market again! 📚💚

Another lovely day bringing my children’s books out into the real world and meeting the people who stop to browse, chat and support my little business.

One of my favourite parts of attending markets is the relationships you build along the way. Catching up with familiar traders, meeting new ones, sharing ideas and supporting each other makes these days about so much more than simply selling books.

Every market, every conversation and every book that finds a new home is another small step in growing Open World Learning. 🌿📖

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, had a look through the books or bought one to take home. And to all the brilliant traders, both new faces and familiar ones — it was lovely spending the day alongside you.

What a fantastic day at Teesdale Carnival! 🎉

We loved being part of such a welcoming community event and meeting so many wonderful families. It was great to chat about wildlife, home education, and our children's books, and to see so many smiling faces throughout the day.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Durham Market with my children's books. 📚❤️

It's still hard to believe that stories which started as simple ideas are now finding homes with families not only across the UK, but also in Germany. Knowing that children in different places are reading, learning about wildlife, and hopefully developing a love for nature means the world to me.

Every book is written with the aim of making learning fun while inspiring children to care about the natural world. Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey so far—whether you've bought a book, shared a post, or simply stopped by for a chat today. Your support makes all the difference.

We had a brillaint morning with the families attending the Fun and Food event at Bullion Community Centee today.

I have to say the kids were the stars⭐️

They showed so much respect for not only our animals but for each other, and were brilliant yaking turns with Athena as we wanted to make sure every child cpuld have time enjoying her company 🐍
