Kick Off Carnival | Cancelled
We’re sorry to share that, due to a large event taking place in Dunstable on Saturday 5th September, we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Kick Off Carnival.

We’re disappointed not to be going ahead, but we’re already looking forward to our Christmas Fayre and will share more details soon.

We’re incredibly proud of the hard work, determination and resilience they have shown throughout their time at Queensbury.

A fantastic set of A Level results at Queensbury Academy!

We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students, who have achieved a strong set of results again this year, reflecting their hard work, perseverance and ambition.

It has been wonderful to see our sixth formers celebrating their achievements and preparing to take their next steps, whether that’s university, apprenticeships or employment.

A huge congratulations to every student, you should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved. 👏

Join us on Saturday 5th September, from 1.00 - 3.30pm, for our Kick-Off Carnival as we celebrate the start of the new school year with our learning community.

There'll be plenty of fun for all ages, including our Colour Run at 2.00pm! If you'd like to take part, you can sign up and pay using the QR code on the poster, or via the Bromcom Parent App if you're a Queensbury Academy parent.

A huge thank you to SustainableTech4Good for their generous donation of laptops to support our learning community. These laptops will make a real difference, giving more of our students access to learning beyond the classroom. We're incredibly grateful for their kindness and support 💚💻

Sustainable Tech 4 Good helps tackle digital inequality and reduce environmental impact by repairing and repurposing surplus technology, giving redundant devices a second life with people and communities who need them most.

As part of this terms Culture Week, our Year 7, 8 and 9 Art students explored the inspiring concept of “Wishing Trees” reflecting on our connection with nature, culture and the role trees have played throughout history.

Inspired by Yoko Ono’s global Wishing Tree installations, students created their own wishes, sharing personal hopes and dreams alongside wider aspirations for the world around them.

With each lesson, our Wishing Tree has continued to grow into a beautiful collaborative artwork, filled with the voices, ideas and reflections of our students. 🌳

This morning, our students swapped their school shoes for trainers and donated their old pairs to Shoe Aid, helping to give them a second life for families in need both within our local community and around the world.

We're delighted to share that, in just one morning, we've collected over 200 pairs of shoes 👟

This incredible achievement reflects the kindness and generosity of our students and families. We couldn't be prouder of our learning community and the positive difference they continue to make.
