Parenting support you can actually use when you need it. šŸ’›

I’ve been working away behind the scenes on something I’m SO excited to finally share with you…

Coorie In Your Pocket is coming! 🄳

It’s a growing library of practical parenting resources, children’s wellbeing tools and support for tweens and teens — all designed to help with those everyday moments that can feel really bloody hard.

Think:

✨ Relaxation and reset audios
✨ Mindful moments for parents and children
✨ Bedtime stories
✨ Support for big emotions and emotional regulation
✨ Resources for tricky parenting moments
✨ Tools to help you support your child or teenager
✨ And lots more being added all the time

Whether you’re dealing with big emotions, bedtime battles, overwhelm, anxiety, tricky transitions or just those days when you’ve absolutely had enough, there’ll be something you can dip into.

And importantly, it’s not another parenting course.

You don’t have to sit down and work your way through modules or find an hour you haven’t got.

It’s a parenting and wellbeing library you can come back to whenever you need a little support.

In this video, I’m chatting about what Coorie In Your Pocket is, who it’s for and why I created it.

The wider release is coming in just a few weeks šŸ‘€

I’ll be sharing more about what’s inside, how it works and how you can join very soon.

If you’re a parent looking for practical support for yourself, your child or your teenager, keep your eyes peeled. šŸ‘€šŸ’›

WE DID IT. WE SURVIVED. 🄳

The first few days of school are DONE.

Uniforms found (mostly).
Lunchboxes packed.
Shoes located.
Everyone made it through the school gates. šŸ˜‚

And now comes the weekend…

And if your house is anything like mine, this is often when the fallout from the first week can appear.

The tiredness.
The big emotions.
The meltdowns over things that normally wouldn’t matter.
The ā€œI DON’T KNOW!ā€ when you ask what’s wrong.
The sudden inability to cope with absolutely anything. šŸ™ƒ

So… I’ve been working on something that might help.

I’ve been quietly building Coorie In Your Pocket (CIYP) — and this weekend my founding members are getting their first proper look. šŸ‘€

And I think the thing I’m most excited about is that it isn’t another thing for you to DO.

It’s not a course.
It’s not another parenting programme you need to find an hour for.
There are no modules to work through or homework to complete.

It’s plug and play support for real life.

A short audio when your child is overwhelmed.

A calming story at bedtime.

A reset when you’re at your limit.

Something to listen to when emotions are running high.

Little tools and resources you can dip into when you actually need them.

Because when your child is melting down at 7.42pm, the last thing you need is another 6-week course telling you what you should be doing. šŸ˜‚

You need something you can reach for in that moment.

That’s what I’m trying to create with CIYP. ā¤ļø

My founding members get their first look this weekend…

And then I’ll be sharing more very soon.

So if the thought of the next few weeks has you thinking ā€œplease let us all survive Septemberā€ā€¦

Keep your eyes peeled. šŸ‘€

Coorie In Your Pocket. Support for real life, right when you need it.

You might be scrolling through Facebook today seeing post after post of children heading back to school… šŸ“š

Smiling faces. New uniforms. Proud parents. ā€œCan’t believe how big they’re getting!ā€ 🄹

But that’s not your life.

You’ve spent the day feeling sick with worry, wondering how they’re getting on. Wondering if they’re okay. Wondering what happened after you left them.

And that’s if you managed to get them through the school gates in the first place.

If this is your reality, please know this: you are not alone. ā¤ļø

It can feel like everyone else has it together because we don’t tend to see the difficult bits. We see the photos. We don’t see the tears, the anxiety, the battles, the exhaustion or the parents sitting at home wondering what on earth to do next.

So if today has been really hard, please don’t think you’re failing.

You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.

šŸ’¬ Send me a message if this sounds like your family and we can arrange a chat about how I might be able to help.

For some parents, the return to school comes with a very different set of emotions. šŸ’›

At this point in the summer, parents of neurotypical children are often in one of two camps:

šŸ™Œ ā€œI can’t wait until they’re back at school. I need my life back!ā€

🄹 ā€œI’m going to really miss them. I’ve loved having these unstructured, pressure-free days together.ā€

And honestly? Both are completely valid.

But if you’re parenting a neurodivergent child, you might find yourself feeling a bit… stuck.

Because yes, having some structure and routine back can feel like a huge relief.

But getting your child back into school can also come with an enormous amount of pressure.

The worry about whether they’ll cope.

The anxiety around transitions and change.

The uniforms, sleep routines, morning routines, lunches, transport…

The phone calls.

The meetings.

The explaining.

The advocating.

The constant wondering: How is this going to go this time?

So while everyone else seems to be either counting down the days or desperately holding onto summer, you might be somewhere in the middle thinking:

ā€œI’m ready for some structure… but I’m absolutely dreading what it takes to get us there.ā€

If that’s you, you’re definitely not alone. ā¤ļø

And just a little reminder: this isn’t a space for bashing parents who say they can’t wait for the kids to go back. We can hold different experiences without judging each other.

But if you feel like you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to the return to school, I’d love to hear from you.

Drop a ā¤ļø or tell me in the comments.

Let’s make sure nobody feels like they’re the only one finding this time of year really, really hard.

Sunday night. School tomorrow. Big feelings. šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

And you’re wishing you had some support right now rather than waiting until your next appointment.

That’s exactly why I created Coorie In Your Pocket — practical support, stories and calming tools you can access whenever you need them.

There are just 3 founding member places left before I close the doors while I get everything ready for the next stage.

If this sounds like something that could be helpful for your family, just get in touch. šŸ’›

There’s something I’ve been quietly building behind the scenes… šŸ’›

A little pocket of support for parents.

A place to find a bedtime story when you’ve run out of words.

A calming meditation when everyone’s emotions are running high.

A little tool when you’re thinking, ā€œI know what I’m supposed to do… but I genuinely don’t know what to do right now.ā€

And somewhere you can come back to again and again - without needing to book an appointment, remember where you saved that Instagram post or search through a million tabs on your phone.

That’s Coorie In Your Pocket.

It’s my way of bringing together the things I use in my work with children and families, and making them available whenever you need a little bit of support.

And I’m SO close to filling the founding membership. 🄹

There are just 3 founding places left.

Once those are filled, I’ll close the doors while I get everything ready for the wider launch.

Not because I want to create panic or pressure you into joining — quite the opposite.

I want to give my founding members a lovely, thoughtful experience and take the time to build the next phase properly.

So if you’ve been watching from the sidelines thinking ā€œI wonder what this is all aboutā€¦ā€ — this is your little invitation to come and have a look. šŸ’›

A parent said something to me this week that really stayed with me…

ā€œWhy will my child listen to you, but not me?ā€

If you’ve ever wondered the same thing, I want you to know this:

It isn’t because you’re failing.
It isn’t because you’re ā€œnot good enough.ā€
And it certainly isn’t because your child loves or respects you any less.

As parents, we’re everything to our children. We’re the safe place, the rule-setter, the comforter, the taxi driver, the lunch maker, the homework helper, the one who sees the meltdowns and the magic.

That relationship is beautifully unique.

Sometimes, hearing the very same strategy from someone outside the family feels easier for a child. It’s a bit like when our own children came home convinced their teacher had all the answers—even though we’d been saying exactly the same thing for weeks!

I’ve had so many parents tell me they hesitate to reach out because they worry they’ll be judged, or because they don’t understand why their advice isn’t landing.

Please don’t let that stop you.

Asking for support isn’t a sign that you’ve failed. It’s often one of the most loving things you can do for your child—and for yourself.

You know your child better than anyone. My role is simply to walk alongside you and help your child hear things in a different way.

If you’re here, welcome.

Maybe you’re raising a child who’s anxious.
Maybe you’re navigating big emotions.
Maybe you’re trying your best and wondering if it’s enough.

Parenting can feel noisy. Everyone has an opinion. Everyone has advice.

I hope this little corner of the internet feels different.

A place for calm, connection and gentle encouragement - for children and the grown ups who love them.

If that’s what you’ve been looking for, I’m so glad you found your way here.
