The International Conference on Data Analytics for Sustainability and Engineering Technology (DASET 2026) has concluded successfully — and the numbers tell a powerful story.

Conference Highlights:
· 451 participants
· 24 countries represented
· 158 research papers submitted
· 115 papers accepted
· 73% acceptance rate following rigorous peer review

Researchers, academics, and professionals from across the world came together to explore how data analytics, AI, and engineering technologies can drive sustainability, innovation, and societal impact.

With a rich two-day programme, multiple parallel sessions, keynote talks, and hybrid participation, DASET 2026 demonstrated the strength of international collaboration and interdisciplinary research.

We were delighted to welcome back former student Bamidele Ibrahim Kogbe to Al-Maktoum College. He was welcomed by our Principal, Dr AG Abubaker, and proudly presented his newly published book ‘Rethinking Civil Society Regionalism in Africa’. A fantastic achievement and a moment of pride for our College community!

Today marks the end of an era at ALM College as we say farewell to Maris after 13.5 wonderful years of dedicated service.

Much more than a janitor, Maris has been the heart of our College - her radiant personality, kindness, and care have brightened every corner and lifted every spirit.

Her presence has shaped our community in ways we’ll always cherish. Maris, thank you for your laughter, your warmth, and the joy you brought every day.

We will miss you and wish you all the very best for what's next! 💐💛
