๐ A little look inside our Under 2s roomโฆ ๐
For our youngest children, the environment is so much more than simply a place to play โ it is part of their learning.
Every area of our Yellow Room is carefully considered to create opportunities for our babies and toddlers to explore, investigate, communicate, move, imagine and make choices independently.
From cosy spaces filled with stories, songs and puppets, to sensory experiences encouraging children to touch, squeeze, shake and discoverโฆ from small-world and construction play to mirrors, light, texture and open-ended resources โ there is always something to spark curiosity. โจ
At this age, some of the most important learning happens through the simplest experiences: filling and emptying, transporting, building and knocking down, repeating an action again and again, sharing a story with a familiar adult or simply stopping to investigate something interesting.
And alongside all of that exploration are the warm, responsive relationships that make children feel safe enough to discover their world. ๐ฅฐ
Our aim isn't to fill the room with things to do. It is to create an environment full of possibilities โ where our youngest children can follow their interests, develop at their own pace and experience the joy of discovering something for themselves.
Because even our littlest learners are capable, curious and wonderfully busy. ๐
Welcome to our little one's room โ where play is learning, curiosity is encouraged and every little discovery matters. ๐ฑ

To show just how much this cause means to us, Learn and Grow Childcare will MATCH every donation made by our families, doubling the impact of your generosity. ๐
Why The Archie Foundation?
The Archie Foundation provides vital support to seriously ill children, babies and bereaved families across Tayside, helping make the toughest days a little easier through specialist care, practical support and unforgettable experiences. ๐ถ๐ผ
Together, we can help make a difference to local children and families when they need it most.
