Dempsey's Karate Club practises traditional shotokan karate. Dempsey's Karate Club was founded in Dundee in 1967.
The Dempsey's Karate School is dedicated in teaching traditional shotokan karate. The club has been visited by many leading Japanese Sensei including Sensei Nakayama, Enoeda, Kanazawa, Kase, Shirai, Tsuyama, Takahashi, Osaka, Kawazoe, Kato, Tometa, Ohta and many more. Our instructors include:
Paul Dempsey (7th Dan)
John Shields (6th Dan)
James Stewart (5th Dan)
Our classes accommodate all ages and abilities.
