The Perfect Piano Academy was born from The Music Room and 25 years of teaching by Carol Brotherston. Originally a studio for one to one lessons and live performances in the town of Dumfries, now a global portal for adult piano learners. 🎹🎶🎵

Have you been learning a while and have some experience?

Do you pick up sheet music, and find it too hard?

Beginners can I help you?

Here's the thing...
Most adult beginners think piano is only about playing.
It isn't. Your seat, your posture, your arm position, your height, your distance from the keyboard... they all affect how easily (or how hard!) the piano feels to play. Get those wrong and you'll often find yourself fighting your body before you've even played the first note.

The good news?

These are the easiest things to fix, and the difference can be immediate.
