A year ago, we began a journey on Facebook with nothing but a vision and a conviction; that we were never here merely for the spotlight, but for something far greater: a family without borders, a community where every race, every story, and every voice would find a place to belong.

Today, that vision has taken on a heartbeat.

What started as conversations across screens has become a living, breathing community. And for the very first time, we gather beneath one camp for three unforgettable days; hearts aligned, minds awakened, and spirits renewed.

From the west, the south, the north, and the east, extraordinary individuals are making their way to Lagos, Nigeria. They are coming to pause in a world that never stops, to think deeply, to reflect honestly, and to recharge for the journey ahead.

As I look around and see what we have built together, my heart is filled with gratitude. Every connection, every shared moment, every person who believed in this dream has brought us to this point.

And yet, standing at this milestone, one truth echoes louder than ever:

Don’t miss the opportunity to truly live your life. Too often, we become so consumed by chasing tomorrow that we overlook the beauty, purpose, and possibilities that exist today.

There is one thing I will like to tell you today; and it is very profound so read it to the end:

WHEN GRACE PASSES BY

Many people think grace will keep waiting until they are ready.

It won’t.

Grace is generous, but it is also purposeful. It creates opportunities, opens doors, sends people, stirs ideas, and positions you at defining moments. Yet it never forces itself on anyone.

If fear keeps you frozen…
If pride keeps you resistant…
If procrastination keeps you waiting…
If excuses keep you comfortable…

…grace will continue its journey. No doubt!

The opportunity you ignored may become someone else’s breakthrough.

The door you hesitated to enter may become another person’s testimony.

The assignment you refused may become another person’s platform.

Heaven is never short of willing vessels.
This is why discernment matters.

Not every opportunity comes dressed in comfort. Sometimes grace arrives disguised as responsibility, sacrifice, uncertainty, or an invitation that stretches you beyond your current capacity.

Grace doesn’t wait for anyone.

When grace arrives, it invites; it doesn’t beg.

If you walk past the opportunity it brings, grace will not remain where it is ignored. It will find the next person with the courage, expression, humility, and readiness to embrace it.

Many people mistake delayed obedience for wisdom, only to discover that the door they ignored has already become someone else’s testimony.

When grace knocks, respond. What you embrace today may become the story that changes your tomorrow.

Grace moves. Make sure it doesn’t have to move past you.

When grace finds a heart that is willing, ordinary people begin to live extraordinary stories.

Don’t spend your life mourning opportunities that once knocked. Instead, cultivate a heart that recognizes grace and responds with courage.

When grace passes by, don’t merely admire it.

Sometimes, it takes standing in the ruins of your expectations to finally understand the truth.

You look around and see the pieces of what you hoped would be, scattered and unrecognizable.

You begin to realize that wanting someone to be different does not make them different.

It would take you a long time standing in the rumbles to finally understand that wanting somebody to be different don't make them a different man or woman.

Desire alone has no power over another person’s will. Many times, it is their choice to remain who they are; consciously or unconsciously.

This realization doesn’t come instantly as it were. It unfolds slowly, often through repeated experiences that echo the same lesson in different forms.

You may question yourself, wondering if you could have done more, said more, loved better. But deep down, you start to see that the outcome was never yours to control.

Acceptance begins here; not as a moment of weakness, but as a quiet awakening to reality.

You can't change anybody. If you accept to be in their lives thinking you would be able to change them will amount to a disappointment that could be heavy for you.

You cannot change anyone, no matter how deeply you care or how strongly you believe in their potential.

People are not projects to be fixed or molded into your expectations. They are individuals with their own choices, patterns, and timing.

When you step into someone’s life with the quiet hope that your presence will transform them, you unknowingly place a burden on your own heart.

That expectation becomes a silent contract they never signed.

Over time, reality begins to resist your intentions. You start to see that effort does not always produce change, and love does not automatically inspire growth in another person.

What follows is often disappointment; heavy, lingering, and difficult to shake.

It’s not just about them staying the same; it’s about you realizing that your vision for them may never come to life.

And in that moment, you are left with a choice: to continue hoping against reality or to accept what is, even when it hurts.
