🍎🥕 Food Festival Week 🥕🍎
From 29th June – 3rd July, the children will be taking part in our exciting Food Festival Week!
Throughout the week, we will be learning where our food comes from, tasting vegetables grown in our school garden and exploring healthy, sustainable food choices. Children will also be creating and sharing delicious dishes with other year groups.

As part of our celebrations, we would love to create a Netherbrook Foods of the World Recipe Book. If your family has a favourite recipe that represents your culture, heritage or simply a dish you love to make together, please send it in for us to include.

Year 2 have been waiting patiently all year for their Forest School sessions, and the first one certainly did not disappoint!☀️

The children were excited to discover lots of wildlife, including froglets and newts in the pond. They also worked together as a team and made the most of the wonderful natural environment around them. What a fantastic start to the final term! 🎉 We're thrilled to celebrate some amazing attendance wins this week, even with some families enjoying cheeky extended unauthorised adventures ⏰

Let's give a huge congratulations to Class 4Ci 🏆 for being our attendance leaders AND maintaining zero unauthorised absences — that's outstanding dedication! They've earned some well-deserved extra playtime to enjoy.

We're also cheering on our punctuality superstars 🌟 Classes 1E and 4Ch for arriving on time every single day this week. What a way to set the tone for the last half term!

Here's the exciting part ✨ Every student with perfect attendance this week becomes an attendance HERO and earns Dojo points plus an entry into their class's random name generator wheel. Next week, we'll upload these wheels to class story so you can watch them grow week by week. With six more weeks of opportunities ahead, your child could be in the running for our end-of-term £50 prize draw! 🎁
