Remembering a former parent, member of our PSG, colleague and friend.
It was with great sadness that we attended the funeral of Mrs Diane Thornton today. Diane was a former parent and a valued member of our Parent Support Group. She also worked faithfully alongside Colin, Olga and Ruth as part of our cleaning team. Diane was well thought of across our school community, and the beautiful tribute paid by her family reflected the deep love and esteem in which she was held.
Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathy are with Darrell, Jamie and the entire family circle at this very difficult time.

P1 would like to thank ‘Down PVC’ for kindly replacing some of our pipes for our water play. We had a new fence installed recently and some of the old clips and parts were broken in the work. We really appreciate you helping us out and the children had lots of fun with it last week.

We would like to say a very special thank you to our PSG for their kindness and generosity in supporting our end-of-year celebrations in Nursery.
This week has been filled with lots of fun and excitement. The children have enjoyed face painting, exploring our new bubble machine, and of course our special visit from the ice-cream van.

Little Acorns- June Fun!
It is hard to believe that we are nearly at the end of our first year. What an incredible year it has been with every child making so much progress both socially and academically. In June our topic was 'Under the Sea' and we loved getting to watch the Primary 7 production of 'Finding Nemo'- our class were mesmerized and enjoyed every minute of it. We are very thankful to the Parents Support Group for organizing a fun day and giving us new resources for our outdoor play.

Celebrating Friendship at Cheeky Monkeys
Today we enjoyed our final Shared Education trip to Cheeky Monkeys, bringing our wonderful journey with All Saints’ Nursery to a very special close.
This trip was a chance to celebrate the friendships the children have built throughout our Shared Education project, and what a fantastic day it was!
We are incredibly proud of the relationships our young children have built and the kindness they have shown to each other.
Today was the perfect way to celebrate the end of our shared journey, and the special friendships that have been made along the way.

Meet Ozzie - P3’s Alpaca Adventure
P3 had a wonderful day at Mourne Alpacas, a hidden gem on our doorstep. We learned about alpacas, their wool, and how it is used, enjoyed creating our own alpaca fleeces and even got to hand-feed some of the friendly alpacas. The highlight of our visit was meeting the farm’s newest arrival, a baby cria just two days old. We were given the special privilege of naming him and proudly chose the name Ozzie.A special thank you to Michelle and Christine, who were so kind, welcoming and organised throughout the day. Their enthusiasm and care made the experience extra special for everyone.It was a memorable trip that P3 will be talking about for a long time.

Meet Ozzie - P3’s Alpaca Adventure
P3 had a wonderful day at Mourne Alpacas, a hidden gem on our doorstep. We learned about alpacas, their wool, and how it is used, enjoyed creating our own alpaca fleeces and even got to hand-feed some of the friendly alpacas.
