Last Monday’s class involved looking at collage and mixed media, using only black and white, to create depth. It was definitely a challenge - but once again, these lovely lot did me proud!

This lovely group explored collage last night at my class - producing textured papers, using mark making and they all left the class with an A3 piece of their own artwork ❤️

It was brilliant to see how they all approached it differently and the results were lush.

Looking forward to seeing what they create next week.

Some of the work from last nights Botanical Mixed Media taster class, where students used a combination of watercolour, pencil and pen. And they did brilliantly!

They have all decided to sign up for the 6 week Botanical drawing course too - I’m thrilled to be gaining students from each of these tasters. Positive feedback from them all about the teaching 😊

One week until my Exploring Line Drawing taster course - I’m really looking forward to it!

I love line drawing ❤️ - whether it’s something as sensitive and considered as this one of mine here, or wonderfully expressive lines, crazy continuous line work - there’s so much you can do with it.

Lesson planned, materials sorted - can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with..
