☀️Sun 2 of the School Holidays☀️

We visited Drighlington Library 📚, Grasshoppers🏃🏼‍♂️, Drighlington Park 🚜 (we can’t wait for the new area to be finished 😃) and had a picnic at East Bierley Park 🦆
We started our new book “What the ladybird heard? 🐞, and made some ladybird printing pictures🍎. And finally enjoyed playing in the lovely weather, making ice creams in the role play area🍦🍨, flower perfume 🌸 in the outdoor kitchen, and finished with a water fight with the older children on Wednesday 💦

We have had a lovely mix of the older and the younger children 👧🏼.
We have visited Roundhay Park, Goodalls Ice cream, Stompers. We have continued our Ice Cream Messy and Role play outside 🍦, and did some fruit tasting for The Hungry Caterpillar 🐛.

The Sun keeps shining for another week, and it’s the last week before some of the cubs, Anna & Chloe break up for Summer Holidays ☀️

On Tuesday a trip to Dartmouth Park, we walked through the gardens and saw some beautiful butterflies 🦋. We had a play in the park and listened to ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar Book ‘.

On Wednesday we had a play at Munchkins☺️, the trampoline is our favourite!

Thursday, we did some baking and made some delicious butterfly buns 🧁, we had them to eat with our afternoon snack, and watched the butterflies fly all around us 🦋.

We finished on Friday - with the last day of school 🥳, some butterfly activities and lunch out at Heathfield Farm for an end of term meal 🍽️. The children behaved so well, and enjoyed eating out with their friends 👧🏼👦🏻

We are super excited that Chloe is staying with us in September😃 and starting her Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) ☺️
