Staff and students at Downend and Mangotsfield Sixth Form are celebrating an excellent set of A Level and vocational results, marking the culmination of two years of commitment, resilience, and ambition.
This year, 95% of grades were awarded at A*–E, With 44% awarded A*–B and 39% of vocational entries received Distinction or Distinction*, reflecting sustained academic ambition and high performance across subjects. These outcomes highlight the continued strength of our Sixth Form provision and the determination shown by our students throughout their studies. Many have secured outstanding grades and are now progressing to university, degree‑level apprenticeships, and other exciting next steps.
